a) The Empty Earth (v. 1). The Hebrew word {zra 'erets = earth is used 23 times in 24-27.
b) A Shattered People (vv. 1-2)
c) The Curse (vv. 3-6). Three sins committed are mentioned in verse 5.
d) The Broken Spirit (vv. 7-13)
4) NOT A TIME FOR REJOICING (24:14-23):

9) APPLICATION:
a) Witness to others about the marvelous things God has done for you. (Psalm 107:31)
b) Know that God is in control of Life and Death and that, in Christ, we live even though we will die a natural death. (John 11:25-26)
c) Show the people you come into contact with that you trust God’s plan of eternal Salvation. (Isaiah 43:10-11)
