2022 Lent Sermon Series: Miracles of Calvary

March 6, 2022 - April 17, 2022

When considering the accounts of all the Gospels, Jesus’ death on the cross was accompanied by six miraculous events that lead to the concluding evidence of His Resurrection:
   
1) The Miraculous Darkness - Matthew 27:45-49

2) The Tearing of the Temple Curtain - Matthew 27:50-51
 
3) The Miraculous Earthquake - Matthew 27:50-54

4) The Miracle of Opened Graves - Matthew 27:50-54
 
5) Jesus’ Undisturbed Grave Clothes - John 20:1-10
        
6) Revivals to Life: Calvary Graveyard - Matthew 27:50-53

7) Evidence of the Resurrection - John 20:19-23

In my sermons, leading up to and including Resurrection Sunday, I will focus on each of these miracles. Jesus is more than a man and at His death, AND RESURRECTION, all Heaven and Earth proclaimed their witness.
