II.    RELATING THE TEXT: (read the text)
a.    Describe pagan Ephesus  (Rev. 2: 4 'But I have [this] against you, that you have left your first love.5 'Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you, and will remove your lampstand out of its place--unless you repent.)

b.    What Paul is saying to the Ephesians
i.    If “home is where the heart is” we should make a home for Christ in our hearts
ii.    We will be strengthened inside out and know how deep and wide God’s love is.
iii.    God can do infinitely more than you know

III.    APPLICATION:
a.    God is at work all the time (Phil 1:6) For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
b.    God is in control. Not us.

IV.    Conclusion:
a.    Things won’t always be as we wish. They may not happen as quickly – or they may even happen faster - than we thought.
b.    We just need to worry about our hearts relationship to Jesus.
c.    More than “Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so.” DO YOU KNOW THAT JESUS PAID THE PRICE FOR YOUR SIN?
d.    Do you know that with Him we are blessed every day?

Prayer
Song: Everyday I’m Blessed (Crowder)

Ephesians 3:14-21:(NLT) 14 When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father,15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.  20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
